U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam has taken some heat for not participating in large-scale town halls. Today, the Wheaton Republican came to Crain’s and answered questions on tax reform, AHCA and President Trump.

Crain’s: Is the AHCA a good bill?
Roskam: I think it’s a good bill.

Crain’s: What do you think of Trump so far?
Roskam: He’s obviously a controversial figure.

Crain’s: What percentage of your constituents do you think support the AHCA, given that the figure is about 21 percent nationally?
Roskam: I haven’t done any polling.
