South Shore Line commuters may experience delays Monday due to “extremely hot weather,” the rail agency said.

Commuters could experience delays of 10-20 minutes because “it is necessary to operate our trains at reduced speeds under these conditions,” South Shore Line said in a statement.

The rail line said it regrets any inconvenience the delays may cause commuters.
