Man Shot Near Art Institute of Chicago: Police

A man was shot in the stomach Thursday evening near the Art Institute of Chicago in the city’s Loop, police confirmed.

The 21-year-old was shot about 8:25 in the 100 block of South Michigan Avenue and was taken to Northwestern Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.

The victim was uncooperative, police said.
