Chicago Firefighter Emerges From Smoke With Family’s Cat

A fire rescue to warm the hearts of pet lovers everywhere. A house was totally in flames on Chicago’s South Side Wednesday night. The human residents got out OK, but they worried about a loved one they left behind. Then, from out of the smoke, a firefighter emerged with the family cat. It was alive, apparently in good condition, and happy to be back in the arms of a very relieved, very loving, and very grateful owner.
