Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell may technically be “the enemy” in St. Louis, but he managed to make some new fans of Cardinals supporters on Monday night.

During a game between the two teams, Russell was chasing a pop fly down the left field line, and when he reached into the stands to try to catch the ball, he accidentally knocked the nacho platter out of the hands of a Cardinals fan.

A few innings later, Russell not only apologized to the fan whose snack he ruined, but he also provided some new refreshments to the man despite his rooting allegiance:

For once, Cardinals and Cubs fans can unite in agreeing that a player involved in the heated rivalry was able to earn a fan on the opposing side with his gracious attitude.
