Chicago police are searching for a pregnant 14-year-old girl who has been reported missing on the city’s Northwest Side.

Authorities say that Isis Vargas was last seen on Tuesday in the 2200 block of North Long in the city’s Hanson Park neighborhood.

The 14-year-old has a scar on her forehead, and is two months pregnant, police said.

Vargas stands 5-foot-2 and weighs 123 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair, and an olive complexion, police say. She was last seen wearing light blue gym pants, purple gym shoes, a grey shirt, and a black or grey sweatshirt. Police say that her hair might be shorter than what appears in a photo provided by her family.

The girl was reportedly seen in the area around Schurz High School on the evening of May 9, police say.

If anyone has information on her whereabouts, they are encouraged to call 911 or to call the Area North Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8266.
