Chicago fire officials say that they responded to the scene of a house collapse on Thursday afternoon on the city’s South Side.
According to officials, the home, located in the 1200 block of West 32nd Place in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood, was being renovated when it collapsed just after 3 p.m. Thursday. The home was vacant at the time of the collapse, and no injuries were reported.

Parts of the home did collapse onto neighboring residences, but it’s unclear if those structures sustained any damage.
Chicago building department officials are on scene to assess the damage.
