For the second consecutive game, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook will be a healthy scratch when the team takes on the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.

Seabrook, who has one goal in nine games so far this season, will once again be out of the lineup as the Blackhawks begin a four-game road trip, and head coach Jeremy Colliton has said the line combinations and pairings will remain the same for the second straight game.

Duncan Keith is expected to remain with Calvin de Haan on the top pairing, while Seabrook’s normal pairing-mate Olli Maatta will work with Slater Koekkoek. Erik Gustafsson and Dennis Gilbert will make up the third pairing.

According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times, Seabrook isn’t thrilled with the decision to have him sit out a second straight game.

“It’s not fun, sitting out,” Seabrook said. “I don’t think I need rest. I feel like I still got a lot to offer in this league and still be a good player for somebody.”

After four straight losses, the Blackhawks made some big changes to their lineup for Sunday’s game against the Kings and it paid off in a 5-1 victory. The line combinations will remain the same for the Tuesday tilt against the Predators, which gets going at 7 p.m.
